Author collaborations: Extrò Venice joins art
Tatiana Carapostol was born in 1973 in Leova, a city in the Republic of Moldova.
Since 1985 he has attended the painting school of his city. In 1991 he enrolled in the faculty of plastic art and design at the Ion Creanga University of Chisinau, graduating in 1996. Already in 1995 he exhibited in group exhibitions at the Constantin Brancusi gallery in the capital. The separation of the Republic of Moldova from the Soviet Union caused a great crisis which forced the artist to emigrate, like many of his compatriots, to Italy in 1999. Here he settled in Rimini for the tourist season and has already organized a solo show. Despite the difficulties of this new experience, thanks to ambition and tenacity, he resumed his pictorial activity with the move to Venice after a few months and this facilitated his insertion into the artistic fabric with a crescendo of collective and personal exhibitions. In 2003 at the San Vidal Venice Art Center she took part in various competitions in Venice and its surroundings where Tatiana Carapostol immediately distinguished herself by receiving prizes and recognition. Participates in exhibitions at the GB Tiepolo art center in Udine and at the 4th Udine painting fair. This was followed by awards at the Burano prize from 2005 to 2008. Second at the 13th Spolaor competition in Villa Contarini, Mira-Venice. In 2006 a solo show at the Kursaal of AbanoTerme-Padua and subsequently at the Leonardo da Vinci cultural center in San Donà di Piave. In the same year he was present at the ArteBa 07 Fair in Buenos Aires Argentina and Arte Fiera Forli. He receives first prize at the “Orsa” national competition in Venice-Mestre. He publishes the book on his artistic expression entitled "Images of thought" and exhibits at the Farsi Arte gallery in Portogruaro.
Also in 2006 he participated in the collective exhibition "A menu for the Colomba" at the Bevilacqua La Masa gallery in Piazza San Marco in Venice. In 2007 he opened a gallery in San Donà di Piave. In 2009 it was presented at the NAC Milano Novegro contemporary art fair by the Polin Gallery and at the collective Looking for Venice in the Treviso venue. 2008 personal exhibition in Venice. In Venice 2009 in conjunction with the Biennial of contemporary art, personal exhibition “At the rigt time” at Sala San Tomaso. Participates in the 7th International Biennial of Contemporary Art at the Fortezza da Basso in the city of Florence, acquiring the "Lorenzo il Magnifico" award. Participates in the IV Biennial 2009 of Trani and Barletta. Publishes the book "the rooms of memory" published by Giorgio Mondadori. In 2010 Personal exhibition "Tra qui e Altrove" at Palazzo Morattini-Monsignani Forlì. In Venice, a personal exhibition at the San Giovanni Battista school “Uncontaminated”. In 2011 again in Venice "Art project" and "Art time", in 2012 "Affinities and contrasts", "Art Expo", "Venezia project", "Progetto Arte", In 2013 he took part in a collective exhibition in Brighton UK with the foundation The Omnia Scroll, ”StART”, ”Prebiennale” Venice and all the exhibitions organized by the Art Studio gallery. Present in Arte Fiera Padova 2014. Participates in the TV programs organized by Orler Venezia 2014-2015, Bazar-Art exhibition in the Orler salons. Personal exhibition at Antiques Artistic Vigonza-Padova, participates in "ArTe 2015 Christmas Edition" at the Art studio Venezia gallery and is present in Foggia in the "Contemporanea" gallery. In 2016 personal exhibition in Venice, he participated in the international exhibition "ArT Venice" on the island of San Servolo-Venice. Since 2017 Present in the permanent collection of the Limen Museum of Contemporary Art in Vibo Valentia.
